FHCA offers competitive homeschool sports programs in volleyball, basketball and soccer for homeschoolers in the Fayetteville, NC area. Through these sports, we focus on Christian values and the total development of the individual. Our program stirives to help young athletes reach their fullest potential. We are a member of the North Carolinians for Home Education Athletic Conference. However, we play not only other homeschool teams but local Christian schools from Fayetteville, Lumberton , Dunn and Sanford .
Summer Basketball
The 2009-2010 basketball season is fast approaching! It's time to pull those shoes out and hit the court! If you know someone that is interested in playing, please pass on the info! This is a great time to check out basketball and meet other players and coaches. Coach Shanon Cimbura has scheduled three skill set gym sessions for all returning and new players ages 10-18, both boys and girls. Reservations are required as we need a minimum of 10 players in order to pay for the gym. Price is $2 per player.

Volleyball News
Volleyball Try-outs:
***If you missed volleyball tryouts are are still intested in playing volleyball, contact Coach Sally as soon as possible. There are still openings on the Middle School team, older players may be invited to join a practice group depending on skill level***
MS Skill Evaluations are June 11 and 18 from 9am-10:30am JV and V Tryouts are June 11 and 18 from 10:30-12:30 Teams will be announced by phone June 19-21
Varsity and Junior Varsity teams will try out for 9-10 slots (on each squad). Players, ages 14-18 that are not selected for these slots, may be invited to participate in team practices. They would be considered practice players and may be pulled up to the competing teams in the event that a rostered player is unable to play; this could be either a short term or long term situation. JV and V registration fees are $85 per rostered player, $65 for practice player.
Middle School players (ages 10-13) will not have the same try-outs as Junior Varsity and Varsity. Players' skills will be evaluated, but everyone interested in playing will be rostered. Playing time, however, will be determined by skill level, effort, and attitude and will be at the coach's discretion. Players of middle school age may try out for the JV team; players not selected for JV will still be eligible for the MS team. All MS age players trying out for JV still need to attend the MS Skill Evaluations. MS registration is $65
Summer practices will be as follows:
June 25, July 2 and July 9 MS from 9-10:30, JV & V from 10:30-12:30 (June 25 only, JV & V please arrive by 10:00)
Players are required to attend these practice. Players MUST notify coach of absences; missed workouts without notification will be considered an unexcused absence.
Beginning July 30th practices will be as follows:
Varsity 1:30 - 4:00 Junior Varsity 3:00-5:30 Middle School 4:00-6:00
The first 2 weeks of August, practices will be Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs.
Following those 2 weeks we will be shifting to Monday/Thursday practices. There may be some adjustments to this depending on the game schedule.
Game schedules will be available at skills sessions and tryouts.
Boys Soccer
The Crusader Boys' Soccer Schedule has arrived!
Homeschooled boys ages 11-18 are invited to join Coach Cindy Campbell for another exciting season.
Conditioning Sessions: June 30th , July 2, July 7th, July 9th, July 14th, July 16th from 9:30 till 11:00. Coast is $2 per player.
Season practice starts on July 20th.
Practices will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from then on out till the end of the season in mid October.
July 20th - Aug 7th we will practice from 9:00 am till noon. August 10th through the end of the season we will practice from 1:30 - 4:30 on non game days, except Wednesdays. There is never practice on Wednesdays. Practices and conditioning are held at Church of the Open Door on Cliffdale Road.
We have tournaments on August 8th and Aug 21-22 so clear your schedule now please. The season ends with a tournament October 17th.
Registration cost is $85 per player. $20 of registration must be paid by the first practice. Players may not practice with the team until paperwork is filled out and turned in.
